About Magpie

Magpie is what happens when an SEO and a Software Engineer decide to make an SEO tool that they can both use. The result is a free page-audit and inspection tool for SEO professionals.

Magpie was created by Stephen Renz (Head of Product and Technology) and Teresa Mariano (Founder, CEO) of Oriole Group, an SEO consulting group.

Because we prioritize privacy and transparency, Magpie contains absolutely no tracking or analytics whatsoever; your usage of Magpie is completely private and anonymous.

What you see in Magpie is exactly what is happening on the page - we do not "score" or editorialize the audit results. Instead, we offer deeper inspection capabilities, such as the element code view and client-side rendered content highlighting.
